Things are looking up for Sparta Systems thanks to ROCKFON Ceiling Solutions

Things are definitely looking up for Mathew Bates and Simon Jones, joint owners of ceiling installation company, Sparta Systems, who won the Rockfon Artic free prize draw and drive away a brand new liveried Citroen Berlingo van! ROCKFON’S new Artic ceiling range provides outstanding quality at affordable prices and to celebrate its launch, ROCKFON offered installation companies the opportunity to enter the free prize draw if they purchased over 250sqm of Rockfon Artic from May to July. The competition attracted over 100 entries and over 27,000sqm of Artic ceiling tiles were registered from many different installers across the country during the entry period.

David Frise, Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Interior Specialists (AIS), drew the winning entry and Jason Hemingway, UK Managing Director of ROCKFON, contacted Mathew with the good news. Mathew could not believe his luck and is thrilled to be the owner of a brand new liveried van.
“Simon and I attended a promotional day at CCF Leeds and were impressed by the performance of the Rockfon Artic tiles. So when we were informed they were better value for money than the tile we were due to use on a live project, it made sense to offer up the tile to the main contractor; luckily they were impressed enough by Artic’s performance to sign off on the specification change. We never considered winning the van, so when the news came we were over the moon; having the van will make a huge difference to Sparta”.

The prize van is a Citroen Berlingo Enterprise L1 Diesel 1.6 HDi. Mathew received his prize at a presentation ceremony on Thursday 12th September which took place at CCF distribution centre in Leeds where the Artic ceiling tiles were purchased. To celebrate, ROCKFON released 100 helium balloons with vouchers attached. The furthest travelled voucher after one month of the release will receive a £50 prize.

The smooth white, 15mm thick Rockfon Artic ceiling tiles offer all the unique stone wool performance characteristics you would expect from ROCKFON including enhanced sound absorption (Class B 0.8aw), making them ideally suited for office and retail environments.
With the added value of ROCKFON’s stone wool performance, Artic ceiling tiles are designed to withstand up to 100% humidity resistance, offer the safest Class A1 fire performance and thanks to their smooth, white surface provide optimum light reflection. Lightweight and easy to install, Artic can create either semi-concealed or exposed grid ceilings, backed up by a 15 year guarantee.
