ThyssenKrupp has provided a selection of low, mid and high rise elevators as well as several specialist elevator solutions and escalators to Ropemaker Place in London. Featuring thyssenkrupp ‘Destination Selection Control’ technology, the unique requirements of the project including transfer lobby’s were reviewed and accomodated to meet the critical requirements of efficient passenger movement throughout the building.

The final design included 17 elevators operating with ‘Destination Selection Control’ fitted to lobby entry gates required for security access, to facilitate transfer floor mode operation. These elevators were arranged in three disting groups.

In order to satisfy the requirements of the fire strategy for the builing overall a dedictaed fire fightng elevator was included serving all 21 storeys over 83m. Working with Mace Ltd, thyssenkrupp Elevator consulted closely with the project design team Arup Associates to ensure the proposed solutions satisfied the customers overall vision of the project and delivered a fantastic final result.
