Streetproducts were contracted to install a rolling security grille across the front of Tod's store to protect from ‘smash and grab’ raids that where becoming widespread through the high-end shopping areas in the city.

The grille had to disappear during the day into a purpose-built cupboard that was made to look as though it was a pillar on the wall. The track was set into the ceiling and the only floor fixing points where the small ground sockets that the locking posts' shoot bolts secure on to.

The whole project was completed out of hours to prevent any disturbance to the shop. The final appearance was an unobtrusive, but successful security measure.
