A new mixed-use £15.6m development has been given planning consent in Hoxton, London.

The development sits next to several listed buildings and a church on a prominent junction on Pitfield Street and New North Road, and involves the demolition of an existing housing block.

The £15.6m plan features 72 flats of which 18 social rented homes, 11 shared ownership homes and 43 private for sale homes.

London-based architects Child Graddon Lewis was granted the permission from Hackney Council.
