Project: Stratford Centre, east London

Plans have been submitted to Newham Council, by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris architects, to develop the Stratford Centre in east London in an estimated £70M scheme.

The proposal includes construction of a mixed-use development of 27 storeys to include a food store, shops and student accommodation, as well as improving public space along Great Eastern Road.

The development aims to extend and strengthen the existing shopping centre, and improve the visitor welcome to Stratford from the adjacent station. The scheme, for client Catalyst Capital, should start work in 2014, with a September 2015 completion date.
