Toryglen Regional Training Centre

Type of works: installation of motorised sports walls.

Alpha Leisure was given the opportunity to deliver an alternative method of design and installation in sports curtains. The Toryglen indoor training facility has prompted the introduction into Scotland of the Scandinavian system of motorised sports walls. These are the only practical method of rapidly effecting temporary division of large sports halls where traditional curtains are impractical due to the sheer size or number of divisions required.

In this type of very high building it is important to be able to store the walls at roof height so that they do not impede the movement of balls. As the technology did not exist in this country, Alpha Leisure had to import it and is pleased to be able to offer this latest of innovations in sports facilities.
