Flat roof systems
Tremco offers an extensive range of cold-applied liquid systems to provide a long-lasting and highly efficient waterproofing solution for cold, warm, and inverted roofs. The systems:

• AlphaGuard BIO Liquid Applied Roof System
The system can waterproof over existing flat roof build-ups and structural roof decks. It can also be used as a full system build up for either roof replacement or new build construction projects.
• AlphaGuard PUMA Liquid Applied Roof System
The system can waterproof over existing flat roof build-ups and structural roof decks. It can also be used as a full system build up for either roof replacement or new build construction projects. It is also compliant to encompass a blue roof system, to deliver a sustainable urban drainage system (SuDS) at roof level.
• POWERply RBM Flat Roof System
RBM systems can waterproof over existing flat roof build-ups and structural roof decks. It can also be used as a full system build up for roof replacement and new build construction projects. Tremco offers both torch-on and self-adhesive systems.
• AlphaGuard BlueShield Inverted Roof System
For new build construction where external finishes are required, ideal waterproofing solution for green and blue roofs, recreational podiums and terraces, and service decks.
• Vulkem Balcony and Walkway System
Tremco can enhance an estate’s flat roof alongside foot-trafficked areas. Vulkem has been designed specifically for balconies and walkways.
• Alumanation 301 Metal Refurbishment System
The system can waterproof most existing sloped metal roof constructions providing a rustproofing solution and extending the lifespan of the degraded surface finish.

Roof diagnostics
Buildings are made of many different assets (components) with varying life expectancies, therefore understanding and capturing data for each asset’s condition is vital. For roofs, they are often left until an issue arises. However, to mitigate chances of a disruptive and expensive fix, carrying out a technology led survey can diagnose issues to help catch issues early.

The ‘science of early detection’ can determine the condition of a roof by identifying, plotting and visually demonstrating areas of concern if present. This is then followed by refurbishment if issues are found, or a proactive preventative maintenance (PPM) programme can be implemented to protect the roof investment.

Proactive maintenance
At Tremco they have an internal specialist contractor that can carry out PPM (planned preventative maintenance) programmes to support building life cycle costing, as part of an estate’s asset management plan. Tremco can manage the maintenance of your roofs Inevitably.

Depending on the site’s needs, inspections will be carried out between 1-2 times annually. A tailored programme can then be created to suit the varying nature of your roof(s).
