Trench Heating: Aerocourse
Trench heating is set into the floor of the building producing a warm air curtain which off-sets down draught and heat losses from window areas for example, especially effective where floor to ceiling glass is a consideration.
Aerocourse fan assisted trench heating is suitable for application in many buildings, such as offices, libraries and laboratories. It is the ideal solution where wall space is limited or unavailable to accommodate conventional Finvector Perimeter Heating - for example, where there is full height glazing, or to provide a wall free from services and heating equipment.
Dunham-Bush Trench Finvector provides natural fan assisted convection heating around the room perimeter and produces a warm air curtain, which off-sets down draught and heat losses to ensure comfortable conditions. It is suitable for operation with a pumped hot-water or low pressure steam system. Designed for installation in a purpose made floor trench or below a suspended floor with a sturdy floor grille whichh can be easily rolled up when necessary for cleaning.
Models - Casings are available in a range of eight models to suit outputs as well as accommodate flow and return pipework. Four model types are available, each with an optional 40mm increase in width incorporating support brackets.
Casing Length - Casings are available in 5 standard lengths for active heating, with a range of dummy, telescopic and corner casings for continuous runs of trench heating.
Controls - Aerocourse is available with an extensive range of control options, ranging from simple single speed on/off control to comprehensive fan speed and waterside modulating controls and BMS enable relays.
Aerocourse is available with woven polyester filters fitted to fan inlet. Feet can also be altered for fine adjustment of 0-40mm to finished floor level; for deeper trenches and floor voids, telescopic mounting brackets are available.
