Triflow by Zaha Hadid auctioned for £30,000

On 3 June Poly International Auction House in Beijing held its first Design Auction. Lot number 2831 was the Triflow by Zaha Hadid.

The appliance fetched 300,000 RMB, equivalent to GBP 30,000, excluding premium. This price confirms Triflow Concepts' successful cooperation with internationally renowned architect and designer Zaha Hadid. She has won numerous international competitions including Equerre d’argent Prize, European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture in 2003, Designer of the Year Award for Design Miami in 2005, RIBA European Award for BMW Central Building in 2005, Stirling Prize for Evelyn Grace Academy, London.

Her revolutionary architectural designs earned her the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004.

Her works are always unconventional yet infused with artistic purity. In 2008, Forbes ranked her 69th most powerful woman in the world and in 2010, New Statesman ranked her the 42nd most influential figure on the planet. In the same year Time Magazine 100 issue selected her as one of the top 100 influential thinkers of 2010.
