Triflow Concepts sponsors the Architectural Review Awards for Emerging Architecture

Triflow Concepts Ltd is proud to sponsor the Architectural Review Awards for Emerging Architecture; the most popular and prestigious awards programme for young architects in the world.

Sharing the Architectural Review¡'s keen eye for cutting-edge design, Triflow Concepts is a leader in the advancement of design for future living.

Triflow Concepts pioneered the world's first tap that delivers hot, cold and filtered water through a dedicated waterway in the same spout, a system that prevents cross-contamination with the regular tap water. With the launch of the Quadro System the firm introduce the convenience of having instant hot, filtered water heated to 98C.

Joining the ranks of our environmentally friendly products is the Triflask: a new reusable drinking flask made of BPA-free co-polyester. This material presents none of the health risks associated with plastic bottles.

Triflow Concepts encourages a healthy and sustainable hydration solution with minimal carbon footprint. Their products give consumers the opportunity to go Back To Tap without compromising on style, convenience or water quality.

To celebrate their 30th anniversary the firm commissioned Zaha Hadid to design two new models for Triflow. Inspired by the movement of water, the designs are a formal expression of the continuous flow of liquid, merging body, spout and handle in a seamless trajectory of curvilinear geometries. Depending on personal preference either model can be used in the bathroom or the kitchen.

Triflow Concepts identifies with architects who strive to push the boundaries of design and regard this cooperation with the AR as an affirmation of our own status as an innovative company rather than one that follows trends.

Commended entries will be exhibited at RIBA for three months after the awards ceremony, which will be held on the 24th November 2010. After this, in February 2011, a series of six lectures will take place at RIBA each one focusing on one of the winning or highly commended entries.
