Twickenham Stadium, London

30 Sep 2011

Client: Twickenham Stadium
Architect: Ward MCHugh Associates
Type of works: Supply of washrooms systems

Twickenham Stadium is the largest Rugby Union stadium in the world and has been enlarged to a capacity of 82,000 in four phases. This makes it teh second largest sports stadium in the UK after Wembley.

The original stadium has been transformed in a series of refurbishments starting in 1989 and completed in 2005. All the urinals are made from stainless steel with special sizes needed to fit the various wall lengths to provide the maximum capacity for the large number of users of the stadium.

The durability of the Franke stainless steel urinals, WCs and washbasins has been proven over the 20 year period as the first phase of products are still in good working order and require minimum maintenance.
