Timber doors and windows from Mumford & Wood's Contemporary collection have been specified in the design and construction of two prestigious new properties in Wimbledon.

These multi-million pound homes have been built on the site of a turn-of-the-century bungalow and its grounds in this sought-after, traditional location, and break the mould of the typical surrounding properties with extravagant use of modern-design elements such as chrome, floor-to-ceiling glazing, and decked balconies.

Providing substantial living space over three stories from an elevated hill-top location, Mumford & Wood's doors and windows contribute significantly to the impact and outlook of these remarkable and secluded properties.

Mumford & Wood's Contemporary products are made from selected Douglas fir, and laminated larch and sashes and doors are laminated sections to provide superior strength and stability. A modular systems, it is designed using attractive, simple moulding lines, and all items are made to order. Supplied with two coats of factory-applied paint or stain finish, and glazed with energy-efficient Low E glass, Mumford & Wood's Contemporary products result in a high-specification at a realistic and competitive price.
