Type of works: supply of specialist hinged doorsets.

Commissioned directly by the end user, Booth provided design assistance and was requested to provide a selection of 59 specialist hinged doorsets on the nuclear project.

The steel hinged doorsets were provided for various purposes, which included UK Government approved high-security doors, fire doors with up to 120 minutes fire protection, light radiation shielding (up to 6 mm plate construction) and louvre doors.

Designed and manufactured in Bolton, the doorsets were installed on site by a team of experienced Booth engineers working on the new-build project.
