As part of building upgrades the Trusts architects developed a specification to ensure all main corridors, lift lobbies and stairwells fire doors were compliant. Due to the mixed building stock on sites and problems with door failures experienced from GDC (chipboard) cores, doors being un certificated and outside scope of size meant that a clear specification was given calling for full fire test evidence for all products supplied backed by 3rd part accreditation.

Noberne doors were specified for these works due to the robust nature of our perimeter framed doors which are all backed by prime (we test what we make) fire test evidence. This includes FD30, 60, 90,120 minute and X-ray doorsets. In addition we have test evidence for PVC clad FD30/60 doorsets allowing the trust to match in Yeoman Shield door protection with wall protection widely used.
