The three striking towers at Derby University have formed part of the Derby skyline since 1965. Seen as far as ten miles away, the educational buildings at Keddleston Road have undergone a major refurbishment to give their appearance a dramatic facelift.

The link stair between two of the towers is constructed using Pilkington Planar™ glazing by Parry Bowen Limited, the accredited installer. This was a re-clad of an existing structure at the University.

The Pilkington Planar™ system consists of 12mm Single Glazed Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear tied back to 15mm Pilkington Optifloat™ fins with 902 bolts.
