Vetrotech has supplied its fire resistant glass range to the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel in Paris. Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel is one of the most famous and prestigious hotels in Paris. Located on the famous Left Bank of the River Seine, it owes its reputation in no small part to the fact that it is the closest hotel to the Eiffel Tower.
Vetrotech’s expertise was called upon to provide all-important fire-resistant glass solutions for a number of areas, while simultaneously keeping in mind Christophe Pillet’s requirements in terms of luminosity, transparency, luxury, modernism, quality and adaptability.
Vetrotech supplied around 183 m² of glass in total, from their Contraflam® and Vetroflam® ranges: Contraflam® EI 30 and EI 60 (offering integrity, radiation reduction and insulation for up to 30 and 60 minutes respectively); Vetroflam® EW 60 (offering integrity and radiation resistance for up to 60 minutes); and Contraflam® Lite Climaplus EW 60 (providing the same level of fire resistance but with the Climaplus aspect also offering energy-saving properties, including solar and acoustic control).
