VydroFarm joins the Association for Vertical Farming

As VydroFarm continues to attract interest both in the UK and internationally as a vertical farming solution which is entirely scalable to suit commercial and catering applications, it has become a member of the Association for Vertical Farming (AVF), the leading international body of its kind.

The AVF is a non-profit organisation that fosters the sustainable growth of the vertical farming industry through education and collaboration. Its focus is to assist in the advancement of urban and vertical farming technologies, designs and businesses. The link is the result of VydroFarm’s commercial sales manager, Stephen Fry, assisting on a White Paper titled ‘The State of Vertical Farming’, published by the AVF.

Steve explained: “As leading UK hydroponic innovators we are always looking at ways in which we can share our ideas and be part of the wider discussion as to how hydroponics can make a valuable contribution to the issue of global food security".

The AVF is a joint partner with Agritecture.com in organising the international series of Agritecture workshops, including the first one ever to be held in the UK. This took place in London in June 2016 and featured VydroFarm as an example of how hydroponic farming can be incorporated into design projects to offer sustainable solutions for future generations.
