BioClad^® is a hygienic, semi-rigid, White PVC sheeting containing BioCote^® anti-microbial technology that inhibits the growth of bacteria such as MRSA, E-coli and Salmonella. It is suitable for any area requiring hygienic cladding with extra silver-ion protection such as commercial kitchens, showers, W.C’s, hospital wards, laboratories and food manufacturing plants.

BioCote^® is incorporated into panels at the time of manufacture, which is then permanently present on the surface and within. BioCote^® has guaranteed protection for the lifetime of the panels, reducing levels of bacteria and mould by up to 99.6%.

Biocote^® is tested in real hospital environments, as well as laboratories, and trials show that using silver-based products in a hospital environment can result in a reduction in bacteria, leading to a more hygienic and safer environment for patients

As a result of this BioClad^® complies with the NHS Estates Technical Memorandum (HTM) 56.

BioClad is BS food safe, complying with EEC regulations for hygiene in production areas. Directive No. 64/483 and the requirement as outlined in statutory instrument 454 and 805 (food hygiene).
