Wall lining: Marbrex

Marbrex decorative internal panelling for walls and ceilings provides an attractive, practical and cost-effective alternative to tiling and other forms of decoration.

Marbrex is suitable for a variety of commercial, industrial and domestic applications. These include changing areas, shower blocks, food-preparation areas, cafés and shops, domestic bathrooms and kitchens; virtually any location where hygiene and easy cleaning are important.

Both rotproof and waterproof, Marbrex is warm to the touch and reduces condensation, mould and staining. The boards fit together with a tongued-and-grooved joint that does not require grouting. This produces a surface that is easy to clean, will not harbour germs, and is ideal for use in areas of high humidity.

Marbrex is quick and easy to install, taking roughly half the time of an equivalent area in tiling, and can be fixed directly to flat walls, or over existing tiles, using adhesive. Marbrex can also be installed over damaged, irregular or damp substrates using battens over a damp-proof breather membrane.
