Westbury receive ‘Investors in People’ Silver award

Westbury Garden Rooms Ltd and Westbury Windows & Joinery Ltd are proud to announce being awarded the ‘Investors in People’ Silver award.

Fewer than 600 organisations in the country, which is just 2.82 per cent of all organisations, are awarded the Investors in People Standard. The Standard is a framework of best practice, awarded to well-run organisations that meet set criteria such as learning and development, leadership skills and reward of staff.

Jonathan Hey, Managing Director said: “We are a company dedicated to continuous improvement, with our people and strong values at the very heart of the organisation. Through the ‘Investors in People’ program we have identified, acted upon and greatly improved many aspects of the way we organise and run our business. We are committed to motivating and nurturing the professional attitudes and skills of our staff by providing a supportive environment where learning is an everyday activity. This enables us to develop our staff to meet our high standards and reach their personal potential.”

Jonathan added: “This award has been well deserved by all the staff at Westbury and is testimony to their dedication and commitment to the business and our clients. We are all very proud indeed.”

But what does this mean to our customers? Well as an example, it is through the IIP ethos of “Plan, Do, Review” and the creative feedback we encourage our staff to give, we have vastly minimised the amount of on-site time spent and disruption caused during the building process of our Orangeries, Conservatories and Garden Rooms. Through these efficient working practices we are able to erect our structures far quicker than many of our contemporaries, making the customer’s journey far more enjoyable.
