Type of works: design, manufacture and installation of Deltastor shelving on Flexistor bases to store medical records.

The brief was to carry out, with the architect, a detailed assessment of the Trust’s existing storage and, in discussion with all parties, to analyse their needs for a new, purpose-built HQ building. This meant understanding any problems or difficulties with the existing environment and sourcing suitable storage systems to serve their future needs.

Compact Storage designed several new Flexistor mobile systems (matching the finishes to the décor and furnishings of the new building), as well as designing bespoke shelving for the post room along with library shelving for the reference library. The project began as an initial requirement for mobile shelving and evolved to a single source for all their storage requirements.
