WILA lighting for Alpine retreat

WILA lighting for Alpine retreat

The Villa Moos, the latest project from the architectural office of Biehler Weith Associates, is located between the imposing Alps Mountains and the peaceful banks of Lake Constance. The alphabet spectra product family from WILA was specified for the project. With an installation depth of 135 mm, the luminaire can be integrated concisely into the ceiling and the matt-white color of the cone makes this recessed luminaire nearly invisible.

More importantly, the product family offers the right solution for every lighting requirement. The optimal colour rendering is standard with the alphabet spectra family CRI > 98 and the quality difference is particularly visible in the red spectrum (R9). With the 2SDCM (Standard Deviation of Colour Matching), WILA also currently offers the highest colour homogeneity value of any LED luminaire with colour temperatures of 2700 K (super warm white), 3000 K (warm white) and 4000 K (neutral white).

The inside of the concrete ceilings of Villa Moos were laid out with a 50 mm thick material for acoustic reasons; the recess for the alphabet spectra downlights were then covered with edged metal plates of the same thickness, also specially produced by WILA. Thanks to the stepped edge of the plate, the LED luminaires can be integrate into the ceiling.
