Yale will be launching its first CPD seminars end of June

The first seminar, provisionally entitled ‘How good locks make safe homes – safety and security in residential properties’, will introduce the subject of residential doorlocking and include types of locks and their nomenclature (multipoint, deadbolt etc), the importance of considering the entire installation and the requirements of SBD, PAS 23 & 24, NHBC and relevant Approved Documents within the Building Regulations including emergency escape, all with reference to relevant Euronorms and British Standards.

There will be provision for demonstrating examples of different types of locking mechanism and how they work as well as providing samples of mechanisms.
