Zehnder launches provision of parametric BIM objects for their product range

With a growing demand for BIM (Building Information Modelling) in building design, Zehnder are leading the way in the provision of parametric BIM objects for their product range. BIM objects are currently available for the slim and attractive Zehnder Nova and Zehnder HW87 panel radiators, the extremely efficient, CIBSE Award Winning, Zehnder Carboline radiant heating and cooling panel, the aesthetically pleasing and economical Zehnder Terraline trench heater, plus the complete Zehnder LST radiator range.

Designed as fully parametric Revit families, the Zehnder BIM objects are available to download free from the Zehnder website.

In addition CPD seminars are also now available on the use of radiant heating and cooling panels in building projects. Approved by CIBSE and RIBA the hour long seminars explain the principles of radiant heat, how it affects comfort levels and what benefits it offers. They also discuss design considerations when specifying the panels and looks at their dual functionality of heating and cooling. Finally, through the use of case study examples, the seminar will demonstrate how the use of the panels can aesthetically enhance building projects.
