The RBUN interfaces Kidde hardwired alarms with external devices and is dual purpose - trigger input and relay output.

Trigger input

The RBUN triggers interlinked Kidde smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms and causes them to sound the fire alarm pattern when an external device such as a sprinkler flow-switch or manual call point is activated.

Relay Output

The relay activates when interlinked Kidde smoke, heat or CO alarm(s) sound an alarm and is designed to be connected to external devices such as telecare / warden control systems, fire panels, strobes, external sounders etc.
