Ensign is a mechanically jointed cast iron drainage system offering cost effective high performance solutions. Pipes and fittings available in 50mm to 600mm in diameter connected by various coupling options – ductile iron couplings up to 300mm diameter and high performance steel couplings 400 to 600mm. Capable of withstanding up to 5 bar pressure cast iron the robust long lasting solution, that does not suffer from expansion, is fire rated A1 and acoustically is the quietest drainage material.
The Ensign EEZI-FIT system available in 100 and 150mm diameters offers all the benefits of cast iron with the speed and simplicity of push-fit assembly. Kitemark approved for sanitary applications, EEZI-FIT offers the specifier and installer a combination of material and installation savings which has significantly reduced the price differential between cast iron and other drainage materials, offering a premium system at a competitive rate cutting the ‘Price of Quality’.
To enhance the product portfolio of the soil drain business Saint-Gobain PAM UK have introduced VortX a new range of floor, roof & shower drainage products to supplement leading cast iron drainage systems Ensign and Timesaver. VortX roof, floor and shower drains are manufactured in robust cast iron complimented by a full range of accessories; gratings and rodding eyes in nickel bronze, stainless steel and cast iron, spigot adaptors, raising pieces and inserts such as sediment buckets and bottle trap. New for 2018 is a range of cast iron deep sumps, bell traps and brewery traps.
