Stand Alone Access Control
Access control systems allow access or egress to all forms of premises. These include offices, apartments, schools etc. where controlled secure access is required. The security level required will determine the type and operation of the system to be installed. Stand-alone devices only require a power supply and locking device, the control circuitry and "door open" relays (one or more depending on the model) are housed within the access control module.
The Portal Plus is a networkable access control system with Windows based programming and management software with support for up to 15000 users and unlimited entrances. It allows greater flexibility in the design and installation of an access control system having a modular design and facilities for proximity, bio access and coded access readers. A range of readers are available including an industry standard panel mount reader for integration into door entry systems.
Designed for up to two entrances, the S-Prox can be used where residents or staff need access to a property through a single door or through front and back doors. It is ideally suited for smaller applications where there are around 100 users, although it can cater for up to 4000. Typical properties include commercial offices, smaller schools, nurseries and residential properties.
"Vprox" control units are available in five different sizes, allowing greater flexibility in the design and implementation of access control systems. A system will include a control unit, one or more key reader, power supply and as many proximity keys as required. The Vprox access control system can be used from 1 door 20 user installation up to 20 main doors and 99 apartment doors with 4000 users.
