Aggregate Industries has recently supplied its green, blue and buff coloured asphalts to Devonshire Retail Park, as part of an expansion of the Torbay area.

They approached by Devon Contractors and Roadform Civil Engineering to supply asphalt for the surfacing of the customer car park - providing spaces for 339 cars, including 20 disabled spaces.

Aggregate Industries’ Express Asphalt division suggested the use of its SuperColour range, a collection of distinctly coloured high-performance asphalts, which can be tailored to produce a bespoke solution in line with a project’s unique specification.

They provided 420 tonnes of SuperColour Ultra surface course in buff, green and blue, preceded by 1,200 tonnes of standard asphalt and 210 tonnes of aggregates.

The result was a striking car park where the disabled and electric vehicle bays were easy to spot, while the entrance roads provided a contemporary finish in keeping with the natural surroundings.
