Alexandra Security Limited has gained Secured By Design (SBD) accreditation to its range of security mesh and gate systems.

Sales Director Brendan Lewis said: “Alexandra has a commitment to develop its products across a range of sectors, but a focus on ‘high security’ came as a result of listening and responding to our customers concerns about product suitability and performance in the available market.”

“Being able to show the SBD badge against our products is a significant achievement and another step forward in our plans to producing high quality security hardware. It demonstrates our commitment to providing for our customers’ needs, with reassurance that our products match all performance claims.”

He goes on to say: “The branding for Secured By Design is instantly recognisable to our customers and tells them everything they need to know about the quality of our product. We will soon be launching a new website and product brochure, and will be proud to feature this accreditation prominently throughout.”

SBD is the UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principals of "designing out crime" by use of effective crime prevention. In order to achieve this seal of approval all products have undergone strict testing, meaning that they are an effective form of crime prevention.
