Project Management and Design at Glasgow City Council has utilised Allgood ironmongery and doorsets to ensure durable, clean design products were used within a residential building designed for Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Health and Social Care Local Partnership.

Allgood ironmongery had previously been installed in similar facilities and the client provided valuable feedback on suitability both in terms of durability and design. Assisting the project, experienced Allgood Sales Representative, Steve Clayton provided technical advice and guidance on the ironmongery products most suited to the project brief, and highlighted the additional capability of Allgood to supply internal doorsets.

Incorporated within the doorsets was Allgood Alite ironmongery. A robust range, Alite was developed with local government projects in mind to provide a durable commercial product at a cost effective price. As such, Alite lever handles, WC signs, fire door signs along with door signage and spyholes were installed throughout the communal residence.

For self-closing doors within the building, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Health and Social Care Local Partnership opted for fully concealed door closers. Incorporated within the door and frame, the closing mechanism is fully concealed and invisible to visitors to the building.
