Alcoa Architectural Products new design line incorporates a total of 43 surfaces. It combines the natural aesthetics of wood and the textures and patterns of mineral and metallic surfaces with the ease of use, durability and maintenance-free features of an aluminium facade.
By offering aluminium composite panels in Wood Design and Natural Finish, Reynobond® Architecture has created a flexible, economical and weatherproof solution for lending an especially natural elegance and vitality to architectural designs. At just 4 mm thick, the panels are versatile and easy to use, without curbing creativity. Curves and angles can thus be created, for example features which the original materials are unable to offer.
With its natural surfaces, Reynobond® Architecture enables the optimal combination of technological and creative demands, old and new, as well as visual and functional aspects. Take Wood Design, for instance: Reynobond® Architecture surfaces exhibit the structures and warm glow of real wood, but will neither lose their colour or shape, nor be susceptible to the weather. They are also resistant to humidity and pests. And lastly, Reynobond® aluminium composite panels are a sustainable product, since they can be entirely recycled.
The Wood Design range covers a total of 22 different wood patterns, including popular colours such as the classically elegant Colonial Red, warm Walnut Brown or the traditional, stylish Dark Oak. The expanded design line named Natural Finish also offers architects an even greater array of natural surfaces. Totalling 21 colours, the spectrum ranges from four granite options to various mineral nuances, as far as warm sandstone and the contemporary look of zinc and copper.
To help with the selection of an appropriate cladding, Alcoa Architectural Products has developed some new colour charts. These large colour samples, printed using a special process, are virtually identical to the original products with a view to colour and design.
