It helps properties achieve sustainability standards in the new-build and refurb markets where its technology assists in the attainment of EPC C.

CCIR uses 60% less electricity than conventional electric heating by combining the power of infrared with Ambion’s unique, state-of-the-art computer-control system. CCIR’s control system completely replaces old-technology thermostats, using AI and computer algorithms to optimise energy use. This reduces both energy consumption and carbon emissions while maintaining a warm, comfortable heat. CCIR drives efficiencies across a wide range of properties, including old, less thermally efficient buildings, both on and off the gas grid..

Ambion’s portfolio also includes KERS water heating technology. KERS is a highly-efficient indoor heat pump with an integrated mechanical extract ventilation (MEV) which works by recycling the warm air generated inside a home, such as in the kitchen and bathroom, to produce hot water. It can achieve temperatures of up to 65℃, which is higher than standard air source heat pumps, without using an electric immersion heater.

Together, CCIR and KERS provide a comprehensive low-carbon heating and hot water solution for any property, whether it is a new build, retrofit or modular project.
