Dunhams Washrooms provided Altitude SGL Full Height Cubicles and more for the Inspiration Academy.

Inspiration Academy prepares students for future careers and creates lifelong learners who will make a difference to our world. The washroom design moves away from the traditional enclosed rooms and provides open access to the circulation areas. The washroom design brief required anti-vandal full height cubicles with additional measures to prevent anti-social phone usage.

Altitude SGL Full Height Cubicles were selected to provide the extra privacy required for open plan school washrooms. The cubicles were manufactured in Contemporary Grey and Cloud with Fresh Lime IPS Duct panels providing a punch of colour, and bespoke privacy trims were designed and installed around the doors to prevent illicit phone camera use. Solid Surface Handwash Troughs in Tristone Pure White provided a stylish, durable and hygienic handwash solution.

SGL Laminate provides a durable surface for shower cubicles. Able to cope with high traffic and heavy usage, it’s a very popular solution for School Shower facilities. At the Inspiration Academy and many other school washrooms, Challenger is the popular choice for Shower Cubicles – mainly down to it being a high strength yet economical solution for schools.

Dunham’s design teams have been researching and developing ways in which they can make school washrooms secure and safe. This even went down to small details such as minimal floor clearance, which we were able to master through including an extra ‘antiphones’ strip along the cubicle panels allowing no scope for the misuse of phones in the washroom area.
