Heald’s award winning sliding bollard system, the Matador is a patent protected security system, crash tested four times. The Matador Range is available with either three, four or six moving bollards and a variety of operations.

The HT3-EM Matador 4 has been IWA crash tested to halt an 18 tonner N3C vehicle travelling at 40 mph (64 kph) as well as a 7.2 tonne truck travelling at 50 mph (80 kph).

The Raptor combines the security of a roadblocker with the flexibility of a bollard. In PAS68 and ASTM tests, it halted a 7.5 tonne truck at 80 kph (50 mph). The Raptor can be used as a single unit or as part of an array to secure a wider entrance.

The crash tested automatic rising bollards are ideal for locations where a more architecturally sensitive security solution is required. Rising to a height of 640 mm or 800 mm, they halted a 6.8 tonne truck travelling at 64 kph (40 mph) in the US K8 impact test.
