Turbulence in politics. Trouble in banking. Turmoil in the economy.
These are all headlines we have become used to.
But one thing remains steady throughout all this fuss and palaver the work of the BMA in supporting the UKs bathroom industry.
The BMA now represents over 75 well known and respected bathroom brands trading in the UK. It works closely with government bodies, NGOs and technical standards organisations throughout Europe. The BMAs technical, marketing and education committees meet regularly to discuss the important issues affecting the industry and it members rely on the BMAs full time staff to front their opinions with the key decision-making bodies.
Every twelve months the associations AGM gives all its members the opportunity to voice their opinions of local and world affairs and to set the industry strategy for the coming year. This years AGM is being held in Manchester, at the Lowry Hotel, on 1st July.
This is another important event in our calendar comments Yvonne Orgill, Chief Executive of the BMA. We expect another full turnout to discuss some of the weighty matters affecting our industry.
