Below Ground Drainage
Cast iron is often referred to as fit and forget drainage material particularly for below ground applications where crushing strength is vital to ensuring a long life maintenance free solution. PAM offer the market two systems manfactured to different standards, that have different attributes but can be interconnected offering a more flexible combination that no other cast iron manufacturer can match.
Ensign Drain BS EN877
A lighter weight cast iron below ground system available in 100 to 600mm in diameter. The pipes are externally coated initially with a Zinc layer for additional protection and fittings are grey epoxy coated. The Ensign range includes push-fit couplings in 100 and 150mm diameters for fast pipe laying and is the ideal choice for rodding point drainage design.
Timesaver Drain BS437
Timesaver drain is available in 100, 150 and 225mm diameters and is supplied in a black water based primer. The timesaver below ground drainage range includes many fittings of traditional British Standard design-gullies, raising pieces, traps, inspection chambers and anti-flooding valves.Timesaver Drain has immense crushing strength owing to the extra section thickness, making Timesaver the ideal solution for under-building drainage, bridges and in unstable ground conditions.
