In 2014, a £26 million refurbishment of The Belfry Hotel and Resort in the West Midlands was undertaken. The project involved extensive renovations to the resort’s bedrooms, function rooms, restaurant, bar, fascia and external surroundings.

For a transformation of this scale and status, main contractors Shaylor Group Plc. appointed Amber Valley Stone due to their ability to deliver high quality, bespoke cast stone whilst providing project management support throughout.

3 weeks following the initial order, Amber Valley Stone designed and supplied a wide range of architectural vapour cured semi dry cast stone products including pergolas, a moulded main entrance door surround, plinths, cills, chamfered surrounds and copings.

Each tailor-made to their exact requirements and in keeping with the existing architecture of the resort.
