Building maintenance safety equipment
Kee Safety, a leading global supplier of safety equipment, developed a comprehensive range of fall protection systems to provide secure protection for workers involved in rooftop construction and maintenance tasks. Each system complies with the Work at Height Regulations and relevant standards.
KeeGuard® roof edge protection system helps to prevent falls from heights caused by an accidental slip or trip at roof level. Ideal for any flat-roof structures, it features three principal prefabricated components for fast installation. When correctly designed and installed, the system complies fully with all legislative requirements of EN 13374 Class A, HSG-33, HSE INDG 284 and BS 6399-2:199. It is also fully tested to BS EN ISO 14122-3. Fully modular and versatile enough to adapt to most roof-edge profiles and level changes, sections can easily be taken down and re-erected as necessary. Because the system is freestanding there is no roof membrane penetration during installation.
Kee Dome® is a collective, freestanding, fall-protection solution designed to prevent falls through skylights, rooflights and domelights. This modular system allows contractors and maintenance crews to access rooftops for repair and maintenance work safely and easily without the risk of falling through a glazed area. The PVC feet clamp directly to the corners of the base, eliminating the risk of damage to the roof membrane.
The Kee Anchor® range of mobile anchor systems ensures safe access to a flat roof where the installation of collective protection or permanent anchor devices is not viable. Single-user fixed anchor, horizontal life line system or abseiling options are available. Using modular components, each of the systems can be quickly and easily carried into position and assembled to provide a safe, dead-weight anchor platform. Systems are fully portable with no structural attachment or penetration of roof surface or surroundings.
