WJ’s production site in Hull is home to a vacuum coating line, which provides customers with the option to have cladding, architraves and skirting boards coated with a range of wood finishes and protective coatings. Suitable for both internal and external applications, they can apply a range of paint finishes, lacquer systems, staining and priming materials to timber quickly and efficiently.
A factory-controlled process, paint is held within a chamber, which then sprays the timber when passing through – applying paint to all four sides of the object. The thickness of each required layer can be controlled to exact customer specifications.
Adding value to a wide range of construction designs, WJ’s coating systems provide both companies and timber merchants with the choice to use decorative and protective coatings – extending the life and appearance of natural timber products.
They can also deliver factory-controlled systems in a range of colours and finishes to suit the requirements needed, and timber can be treated with high and low pressure preservatives treatments, or fire retardant treatments, prior to coating. This provides customers with a fully integrated service, which reduces costs related to transportation.
