Polyflor Gallery FX Acoustic heterogeneous vinyl floorcovering was just what the doctor ordered for the new Cohens Pharmacy at Harrogate’s Mowbray Square Medical Centre.

The high impact noise reduction and excellent maintenance benefits of Polyflor Gallery FX Acoustic hit the right notes with project manager, Rizwhan Mohmed.

The floor design incorporates Polyflor’s Eucalyptus Green curving towards the pharmacy counter while a circle of Blue Pearl defines the seating area. American Oak was used on the perimeter and throughout the main dispensary.

Installed by MCT Flooring of Manchester, Gallery FX Acoustic offers an impact sound reduction of at least 19dB, surpassing the 17dB Building Regulation Part E criteria, thanks to a specially designed close-cell foam layer.

The product is available in eight mottled granite effects, two stone designs and four wood effect finishes, and features Polyflor’s unique, high strength polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) for improved maintenance and long-lasting aesthetic quality.

As with many Polyflor products, Gallery FX Acoustic contains antimicrobial agents for improved hygiene protection and independent tests prove it inhibits the growth of MRSA.
