ConVer® Goods Lifts
Gebhardt goods lifts are an ideal space-saving solution for safely and swiftly moving materials from one level to another. Integrating lifts with mezzanine floors and/or conveyor systems can optimise warehouse capacity, reduce manning levels, speed throughput and greatly improve efficiency and control.
All models comply with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, can be situated inside or out and comprise a fully inclusive package with a superior specification that on average includes up to £3,000 of features and benefits which are generally only quoted as extras by others. For example, parachute brakes, full powder-coat finish and touch-sensitive controls are all included as standard features on G-ECS lifts.
The lifts are available in a wide variety of sizes, specifications, applications, colours and door types. Models that allow personnel to accompany goods are also catered for. All models are modular in design and construction and arrive on site ready for assembly. Delivery times are short and installation normally takes just 5 to 7 days, using trained and experienced personnel with all the equipment required for each project, so each team is completely self-sufficient. G-ECS is a Safe Contractor and CHAS-registered. The quality of Gebhardt's products, service and on-site installation procedures enables them to guarantee there will be no snagging on completion of the project.
No pit is needed for the lifts, avoiding costly and disruptive civils works. Instead, an electromechanical drive is installed at the top of the shaft, avoiding the need for motor space, and a shallow loading ramp provides smooth and easy access. The high-quality lift shaft consists of a powder coated structural steel framework, which is slab-mounted and then fully and decoratively clad in steel panels in various colours. All cladding is also powder coated (not galvanised) for durability, aesthetic appeal and best appearance.
Safety is a crucial factor in all G-ECS lifts. All incorporate drop-protection parachute brakes, speed limiters, over-load protection, light-curtains to car access, protective grilles and an emergency call device.
The on-line ConVer Configurator is a convenient way to view the many models and options available and decide which combination is most suitable for a specific application, including the weight and type of goods to be carried.
