Conveyors & Materials Handling
Nottingham-based Gebhardt-ECS Ltd are UK leaders in conveyors, pallet movement and storage and retrieval technology. Their expertise and resources ensure innovative, responsive, effective and economical materials-handling solutions to customers throughout the UK and Irish Republic.
Gebhardt's carton and pallet handling systems incorporate the highest quality components and state-of-the-art control, diagnostic and tracking technologies. They have been the foundations of our business success for two decades, providing exceptionally reliable service in a wide variety of user situations.
Series 300 carton-handling conveyors are designed for individual loads up to 50 kg and include several advanced features. Extruded aluminium side sections produce a very strong, rigid structure, and a patented zero-pressure accumulation system ensures damage-free queuing. The equipment is also particularly quiet and energy-efficient. Series 300 equipment includes all the individual components and designs that allow a complete fully integrated system to be provided.
The Series 500 pallet handling conveyor system combines innovative design and high-quality components to provide exceptionally durable and reliable performance for transporting pallets and similar loads weighing up to 1500kg. A particular feature is the low noise levels produced.
Recent developments in materials handling technology by the Gebhardt Intralogistics Group include a range of automated storage and retrieval (ASRS) equipment such as computer-controlled StoreBiter shuttles that can handle a wide variety of totes, cartons, trays, pallets and large containers on single and multiple levels. Gebhardt's constant development and innovation keep G-ECS at the forefront of this fast-moving industry.
Cheetah mini-load storage and retrieval machines, which provide exceptional speed, energy-efficiency and positioning accuracy up to a maximum lift height of 12 metres, offer further ways to achieve demanding throughput rates and productivity while reducing manpower and on-going inventory costs.
Handling throughputs with the ASRS equipment can be maximised by integrating the Gebhardt Dynamic Handover System (DHS), which connects storage and retrieval machines with shuttle modules to reduce running distances and energy consumption while increasing system output.
Gebhardt-ECS customers are supported by a 24-hours day, 365-days a year on-line support service which directly connects to our reliable, responsive and expert engineers nationwide, who will always deal immediately with any issue to keep the systems flowing.
