David Salisbury’s contemporary showroom in London

David Salisbury’s contemporary showroom in London

David Salisbury has been synonymous with producing market leading orangeries, oak buildings and glazed extensions for more than 30 years now.

Alongside this, David Salisbury Commercial has risen in prominence as a group brand providing the highest quality joinery products to architects, developers and building contractors.

Whilst you might already be aware of the style of David Salisbury's orangeries and oak buildings from their national press advertising or website or social media presence, but their ability to produce truly bespoke designs with a contemporary feel is perhaps not so well known.

This was the driving force behind the 'Contemporary Structure' showroom at the company’s London showroom, based at the Chelsea Gardener, Sydney Street, London SW3 6NR.

There are two show structures (showrooms) on site - whilst the first is a traditionally designed orangery, with a beautiful domed lantern roof (and, admittedly, we think a lovely dark, modern paint finish), the second structure is a complete contrast.

Shown here in both daylight and after dark, this is a striking design, full of sharp, clean lines. This design is all about bringing the light inside, whilst affording the best possible exterior views.

Grants Blinds, designed and installed the blinds for both the skylights and the glazed side walls. These are remote controlled and blend in perfectly with the design of this new modern building extension.

This showroom showcases the breadth of design options that David Salisbury Commercial can provide. As each one of their projects is by their nature bespoke, the team can quote on anything from windows and bi-fold doors to an entire extension or stand-alone structure such as this.

The Commercial team is currently being strengthened and marketing activity is being stepped up to capitalise on a rising number of opportunities, not only in London and the Home Counties, but overseas as well (another area of growth for the business).

There are a number of products listed in the Building Information Modelling (BIM) library, whilst their listings on the RIBA Product Selector – the leading resource for architects and construction industry professionals – is being continually updated to reflect our latest product and project news.
