Dröm UK selected to create bespoke steam room

Having already worked with Octagon on a number of projects, Dröm UK was selected by the developer to create a bespoke luxurious steam room in a prestigious, elegant, five-bedroom country mansion set within the exclusive Wentworth Estate in Virginia Water, Surrey.

The steam room adjoins the ground floor gym which opens out onto an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by immaculately landscaped gardens. To ensure ultimate perfection, Dröm UK was fully involved with the design throughout the project, not only working with the Octagon team but also with the client who visited their showroom to personally select tiles and other finishes. Dröm UK produced detailed construction drawings and an M&E specification before undertaking the complete installation on site.

Striking in its opulence, the steam room is entered through a frameless door set within the full glass frontage. Rich chocolate and gold flecked glass mosaic tiles adorn the floor, walls and the sinuous custom made benches. The contrasting, lighter-coloured mosaic tiled ceiling twinkles with a fibre optic colour change starry sky. Also included in the design are LED lights fitted in the base of the benches, and a fully programmable touch screen control panel, which helps to create the right ambience and room temperature.
