Cast Iron is naturally mechanically strong and known for its robustness.

With 2x the life span of other materials, with a proven lifespan of 70 years, which is 2x the lifespan of other materials on the market. Cast Iron is not sensitive to thermal aging, with very low thermal expansion, and is not liable to creep at operating temperature.

To test the chemical resistance of cast iron products, according to standard EN 877, the product samples are tested for 30 days at a temperature of 23 3°C with a variety of chemicals with different PH levels.

Then testing their resistance to hot water (24 h at a continuous 95°C) and thermal cycles (1,500 cycles of 5 min between 15°C and 93°C) are also tested according to standard EN 877.

PAM Building will then carry out another 20 tests with other everyday items such as floor cleaning products, laundry detergent, etc. Where they are then washed and examined for blistering and rusting.
