E Pawson & Son Ltd, a haulage and warehousing contractor based near Rotherham, required extra offices and meeting room space to be incorporated in the design of an expansion programme at its depot near Rotherham.
PK Accommodation who had sold a 14.6m building to them in 2004, were asked to supply a second storey to the existing building with separate access to the first floor.
A 14.6 x 4m unit was sourced and craned into position in May 2006. The building had earlier been fully refurbished by PK to include a boardroom and three offices. PK also manufactured and fitted an exterior dog-leg staircase for access to the first floor.

Mr Pawson continued: “Our business is general haulage specialising in confectionery and food product delivery for major, blue chip customers. Our head office is in Rotherham and we also have warehousing at Normanton and Wakefield. Our business was expanding and we were rapidly out-growing the office space at our head office depot so we decided to add a new suite of offices. I had no hesitation in engaging PK Accommodation for the project.”
