Following a successful past project with the company, Elliott Group were chosen to provide a permanent Tesco Extra Store in Hawkhurst,

Working with Johnson Construction, Elliott offered a full turnkey solution to transform an old bus station in to a new Tesco store.

Projects like this one prove that modular construction can provide cost-effective solutions with minimal disruption compared to traditional building methods.

Originally, local residents were opposed to the new store, worried about noise levels and vehicle traffic during construction.
Elliott were able to offer a modular solution that not only reduced noise and disruption but also minimised the overall programme to just 9 weeks, putting a lot of minds at ease.

Elliott provided 26 modules in total, equalling a store floor area of 10,00 sq ft.

Double glazed safety glass was used on both the windows and doors as well as Swedecor tile flooring and a polyester powder coated ceiling. All washrooms came with a fully integrated panelling system for both WCs and vanity units.
