Increased sales across the UK of Actis range of mix and match Hybrid insulation products have sparked a clutch of new appointments for the innovative manufacturer. Tightening building regulations, the approach of the zero carbon homes target and a rise in green deal enquiries are all helping fuel sales of the CE marked dual tested Hybrid range.
Its NHBC acceptance and the fact it has achieved LABC Registered Details means it is now becoming an attractive proposition for volume house builders in addition to its traditional market of smaller, bespoke builders. Revisions to part L, requiring avoidance of thermal bridging and recognition of the performance gap which the range was specifically designed to address are all pushing sales in a upward direction.
Five staff have been taken on to grow sales as demand grows. Former Rugby player Bonnie Longdon becomes area sales manager for the South of England. Increasing sales in the South West have seen the region previously split into two areas. Dan Anson-Hart has taken on the mantle of area sales manager for Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset while long established sales manager Andy Joyce concentrates his experience in the south Central area - Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, and Hampshire. Margy Thomas and Sammy Bolton will be working in internal sales, liaising with the external team and new and existing customers.
