For Farrow & Ball, 2021 was a colourful year in more ways than one.

Through its bespoke colour consultancy service, which offers expert advice in choosing paint colours and finishes to homeowners and developers alike, the brand has been busy transforming homes up and down the country – and a fair few outside of it too.

The Colourful Character Property

Colour Consultancy Co-ordinator Marcel Ullrich was the driving force behind this incredible transformation – a formerly all-white apartment on Berlin’s Greifswalderstraße that’s now bursting with colour.

While all the rooms have their own distinctive palettes and personalities, Marcel’s skill in choosing colours is most evident in the way each one flows effortlessly into the next.

The Holiday Rental Chalet

Watchers of Netflix UK’s Sex Education will no doubt recognise this distinctive property from its exterior, but through its doors lie another testament to the value of Farrow & Ball’s colour advice service.

As in the apartment above, every room in this holiday home was once painted in neutral tones by its owner, who didn’t feel confident choosing colours. Since a visit – and lots of invaluable advice – from Farrow & Ball expert Kat Billings, that’s all changed.

Wellbeing expert Jasmine Hemsley enlisted the help of Joa Studholme, well-known in her role as Farrow & Ball’s colour curator, to achieve this sun-soaked look in her master bedroom and adjoining bathroom.
