Floor screeds: Readyscreed® and Supaflo®
CEMEX UK Materials manufactures a range of Readyscreed® screeding materials to meet traditional designs, enhanced performance options and specific needs. These screeds are retarded for a specific time, generally 12 hours, and thus remain usable for one working day. This provides significant productivity benefits on site and gives enhanced product quality.
The Readyscreed® range is suitable for all conventional screed applications, including monolithic, bonded and unbonded construction, and as a floating screed.
CEMEX Readymix manufactures Supaflo® flowing screed based on a calcium-sulphate binder. It has been developed over many years and is at the forefront of screed technology. It provides significant benefits over traditional screed to the extent that in some European countries over 50% of all screeds used are this type. Supaflo® is only supplied to approved contractors.
CEMEX Supaflo® should not be used in areas which will be continuously wetted such as communal baths/showers, changing/washing areas, abattoirs etc. As with most screeds, it is not a wearing surface and always requires a protective finish.
